Lalu Avoids Talking about Development

Lalu Prasad Yadav in Patna on Sunday.Patna: Continuing to avoid talking about developmental issues in the lack of any track record, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, while inducting rebel leaders from other parties in Patna on Sunday, said that the victory of the RJD-Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) combine was a foregone conclusion as people had come to their senses about the fake claims of development by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

"The NDA is out and the RJD-LJP combine is in," the former Chief Minister declared adding people of Bihar had woken up from their slumber and have seen the real face of Nitish Kumar who, he said, was all talk but no substance.

Still reluctant to talk about his developmental agenda, Yadav continued to amuse his followers by his one-liners.

"Wherever I went for campaigning, rain came within hours provided much-needed relief to the farmers. Nitish Kumar, on the other hand, continues to bring drought to the areas where he has been campaigning," Yadav said much to applause of his supporters.

Yadav went on to mock Congress Party saying it had no clout in the state and will have absolutely no impact on the state election.

"Some people are there to split the vote but that is not going to work out as the RJD-LJP combine is well poised to sweep the elections," he said.
