(GOOD NEWS AND GOOD WISHES TO NITISHJI FOR NEXT TERM SO THAT HE CAN CARRY ON DEVOLOPMENT WORK IN CONTINUITY....BIHAR NEED CHANGE IN NOT ONLY MINDSET BUT IN GROUND...BUT HE SHOULDN'T GET CARRIED AWAY BY THESE SURVEYES...good wishes that these opinions converts into votes.!!!...VIBHA)

An opinion poll conducted by STAR News-Ac Nielson indicates that Nitish Kumar led JD(U)-BJP alliance will storm to power with clear majority in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections. According to the results of the opinion poll, JD(U)-BJP alliance may get 170 seats in the 243-member house. In the last Assembly elections (2005), JD(U)-BJP alliance had won 143 seats with 36.1% vote share.

The opinion poll indicates that the allies will consolidate their position and their overall share of votes will increase to 41 per cent.

It may not be a good news for the Lalu Prasad Yadav-Ram Vilas Paswan combine as their total tally may be reduced to just 34 seats, says the opinion poll. RJD-LJP alliance will lose around 10 % vote share and that may prove disastrous for them. In the 2005 elections, Lalu-Paswan combine had a tally of 64 seats with a vote share of 34.6 per cent. In the 2010 elections, they may gett just 25 per cent vote share.

The opinion poll indicates Congress improving its total tally to 22 seats (from 9 seats in 2005). The vote share of Congress is also said to rise from 6.1 per cent to 10 per cent.

It is not a good news for the BSP either as they may win only half (2 seats) of what they had won in the 2005 elections.
