(I THINK WE NEED TO FOCUS ON BIHAR AND BIHAR ELECTION RIGHT NOW...GOOD SUGGESTION)
Rahul Gandhi should be a chief minister first before aspiring to become the prime minister, JD-U leader Nitish Kumar said on Monday attacking the Congress general secretary for his allegations of corruption in implementation of development schemes in Bihar.
"I have a simple advice for Rahul Gandhi. Instead of giving lectures on development in Bihar, he should first become a chief minister to learn what governance is all about before aspiring to be Prime Minister," the chief minister said.
Kumar was talking to reporters after casting his vote in his hometown which figured in the fourth phase of the ongoing Assembly polls in the state.
"We have heard much about his (Rahul's) criticism of development in Bihar. We don't give much value to it," Kumar said.
On the allegations of corruption, he said, "Sattar choohe kha kar billi chali haj karne. Congress is the mother of all corruption be it the Bofors deal, CWG irregularities, 2G Spectrum or the Adarsh Society scam in Mumbai.”

Kumar also held the Congress responsible for the exodus of people from Bihar.
"Congress has ruled the state for 40 years and the migration of the people is continuing since then," he said, adding that it has been checked because of efforts by his government.
Speaking at length on measures taken by him to weed out corruption, he said, "We have enacted a legislation that empowers the state government to confiscate properties of corrupt officials and use them as school buildings."
