New Delhi, Nov 22 (IANS) The winter session of Delhi Assembly from Tuesday is all set to be a stormy affair with the alleged irregularities in the Commonwealth Games and the east Delhi building collapse expected to dominate the six sittings.

On the very first day, the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), led by Vijay Kumar Malhotra and Harshvardhan, is set to target the Delhi government in the alleged irregularities in the Oct 3-14 Commonwealth Games.

The recent building collapse in east Delhi and problem of unauthorised colonies will also provide another opportunity to the opposition to flay the government.

Speaker Yoganand Shastri, talking to reporters, accepted that the winter session will be stormy this time, given the number of issues confronting the city government.

On Nov 23, the house will also mourn the loss to life and property due to the building collapse in Lakshmi Nagar Nov 15.

Shastri said a total of 545 notices of questions, including 120 starred questions, were received by the speaker's secretariat for discussion during the six-day session of the assembly.

According to the speaker, the Court Fee (Delhi Amendment) Bill, 2010 will also be introduced and passed during the session.

The winter session of the state assembly will also discuss traffic problem in the capital besides focusing on the situation arising out of discontinuation of development works in unauthorised colonies.

Another issue, that of corruption in the allotment of stalls and relocation of vendor carts by the BJP-ruled Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), to be discussed Nov 30, is also expected to witness a clash between the opposition and the treasury benches.

The BJP says it will also raise differences between Lt Governor Tejendra Khanna and the Delhi cabinet over the latter's decision to double the circle rates of properties in the capital.

The winter session ends Dec 1.
