66,000 pledge to keep peace in Bihar polls

(I REMEMBER IN RECENT JHARKHAAND ELECTIONS EC TRIED AN IDEA TO MOBLISE PEOPLE BY ACTIVATING KIDS TEAM,LIKE A VANAR SENA OF INDIRAJI TO GO TO DOOR AND DOOR AND EDUCATE PEOPLE TO VOTE, AND TELL IMPORTANCE OF VOTING IN THEIR SPARE TIMINGS.I THINK IT WAS IN THE LAST YEAR NOVEMBER...GOOD WISHES TO EC AND BIHAR FOR CALM AND PEACEFUL,VIOLENCELESS,FAIR AND FREE ELECTIONS,AS LAST TIME VOTING PERCENTAGE WAS VERY LOW)

Patna, Sep 17 – More than 66,000 suspected troublemakers have filled up bonds promising not to disrupt the coming Bihar assembly election, police said Friday.

The authorities have identified a total of 66,585 people they feel can cause violence during the October-November ballot. ‘They were made to fill up bonds to ensure they do not create trouble,’ a police official said.

The Election Commission has announced month-long polls to rotate security forces all across the state.
