Terrorists’ launching pads across border still intact: Kuldeep Khoda

The Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Kuldeep Khoda has said that terrorists’ launching pads across the border are still intact and quite a good number of militants with the help of Pakistani forces are still waiting there to infiltrate into the State.

The Director General added that with strict vigil at the border the number of infiltration incidents have come down drastically this year, however there had been an increase in the number of infiltration bids from across the border that have been foiled by the alert troops.

Addressing media persons at Jammu today, the DGP said that law and order situation in state is completely under control and the militancy related incidents during the decade have considerably reduced form about 4.5 thousands to less than 5 hundred number. He added that the civilian killings during these militancy related incidents have also been unprecedently come down from about 1000 figure to mere 50 during the period.
