| Port Blair, June 9: A full-fledged theatre workshop is to be conducted by the National School of Drama, New Delhi in association with the Department of Art and Culture, A&N Administration and EZCC, GoI. This production oriented month-long theatre workshop will be held during June-July 2011. About 30 artistes in the age group of 16-30 years will be selected from different parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the workshop, which will culminate in a production covering different subjects in theatre. The Department of Art & Culture has once again requested the interested persons from all over A&N Islands to join the theatre workshop. The boarding and lodging of the outstation participants will be arranged by the organizers. According to a release from Incharge (Culture), National School of Drama is deputing eight experts to conduct the theatre workshop. Shri Shiv Prasad Gond will be the Camp Director while other experts of the camp are Shri Dinesh Khanna for Acting ,Ms Mani Mala Das for Set Design, Shri Rajesh Tailang for Voice & Speech, Shri Suresh Shetty for Yoga & Movement, Shri Ganesh Kumar for music, Shri Arun Kr. Mallick for Mask & Props and Ms Sneha for costume . Interview /selection of the participants will be held on 9th June 2011 at 11 a.m in the Andaman club, Port Blair. All applicants have been advised to attend the interview/selection. This workshop will be inaugurated on 10th June 2011 at 4p.m at Andaman club.
