Surya Pharmaceutical Q3 net up 30.82 pc to Rs 28.01 cr

NEW DELHI: Surya Pharmaceutical today said its net profit rose by 30.82 per cent to Rs 28.01 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010, over the same period previous fiscal.
The company had a net profit of Rs 21.41 crore in the same period last fiscal, Surya Pharmaceutical said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.
Net sales of the company rose to Rs 398.08 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010, compared to Rs 298.08 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Shares of Surya Pharmaceutical today closed at Rs 24.45 on BSE, up 2.95 per cent from its previous close.
