Planning Commission team to visit Jharkhand next week
Ranchi, Oct 16 (PTI) A high-level team from the Planning Commission headed by its Member-Secretary Sudha Pillai will visit Jharkhand next week to discuss with state government officials about the road map for future.
The team will arrive here on October 19 and will hold a meeting with Chief Minister Arjun Munda, his cabinet and top bureaucrats to work out the future economic road map for the state, D K Tiwari, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister told PTI.
He said the team is visiting Jharkhand on an invitation by Munda.
"The team will suggest the state about a vision document to be implemented for the long term planning and speedy growth of the state. It will also advise the state about more effective development path and financial planning," Tiwari said.
He said that the state is fully prepared to consult the high-level team to set the future direction for the state.
