Aaj kal TV Channels per purani prasidh serials ki charcha, 'HUM LOG' ke pariprekshya mein ho rahi hai...karyakaram aaccha laga!...iss se yah bhi sabeet hota hai ki TRP or sponshership iese quality programmes ko bhi melte rahe hain jo kafi realistic hon,zamin se jude hon, madhyam vargiya parivaar ke liye hon, kum kharch mein bhi ban saakte hain...aur mass apeal bhi usmein ho...jaise 'yeh jo hai zindagi, nukkad, humlog, buniyad, tamas...etc mein thi...inki aaj bhi repeat value hai!...
Aaj bhi DD bharati per kafi aacche, aur classic programmes prasarit hoti hain...isliye logon ki....viewers ki mansikta ko hi sirf blame karna thik nahin!( humare banaye bhi kuch programmes repeatedly prasarit hotin hain jise DD ne puraskrit bhi kiya hai)
Ekta Kapur ke serials or usske saman serials ka aandaz kuch filmi aur alag hi hai(bit unrealistic)...isne TRP ko mapne ka shayad mapdand badal diya hai...per aaj kal kucch nayi serials shuru hui hain...jinmein shuruat kisi samajik mudde ko lekar hui hai per kitne zyadda log iss se relate kar payeinge pata nahin....saath hi...ye agar kisi prant mein fhaili bimar mansikta ya kurition ko...uske piche chupi vivashtaon ko dershati hai to uss prant ki, vahan ke samaj ki kucch aachaiyaan bhi batana chahiye, verna serials me tension zyada hota hai to viewers bhi tanavgrast ho jate hain!!!

'Bhagayavidhata'...Bihari samaj mein berojgari se uttapppan...rangadari ke taraf jhukav...aadarshvadi pita ki vivashta...beti ke liye 'TILAK' ke nam per ladka kharid nahin pate...banduk ki nok per pakad ker shaadi kerna...ladki ki vivashta aur sasural valon ki pratikriya....ye vahan ke samaj ki ek saachchayi hai per...sirf yahi to saach nahi....sambhavta...aage voh isthitiyon mein parivartan dikhayein...vaise inn kuritiyon aur gundagardi ko ab khatm hona chahiye...issa vahan ke log hi kar sakte hain!...PALAMPUR EXPRESS, PAVITRA RISHTA,..GUNWALE DULHANIYA LE JAYENGE, JUGNI CHALI JALANDHAAR,..BALIKA VADHU...BAS ITNI MUHABBAT HAI, LADIES SPECIAL,AANTARA, BANDANI,AAGLE JANM MOHE BITIYA HI KIJO...(A poor girl bought to be a Sarrogate mother and her story)...etc...ye vibhiin pranton ki, vahan ke samaj ki zamin se judi saachchaiyaan to dikha rahen hain per, keitne hafte...her roz ki kahani kucch dinon mein ghisatne lagti hai aur nayapan khatmn ho jata hai!...fhir sab vahi purani ghisi piti, ek jaisi kahaniyaan ho jaati hain...Nao rason mein kuch fark pata nahin chalta!
'Rakhi ka Swayambar' ek naya experiment hai...per bahut aakarshit nahin karta...datings ki details filmi aandaz mein shoot kiya gaya hai per kuch chichora hai..'Kafi aat patte sawal pucche ja rahein hain...joki sahi nahin lagtein hain'.....mujhe nahin lagta Sita, Draupadi, Padmini...etc ka Swayamber...eisa raha hoga!...People and producers need to understand the difference between TV serials and Feature Films!!!

Balika vadhu came out with issues of chid marriage, widow child marriage, girl child litreacy, discrimination between different relations,poor girl bought for marriage, vast difference in age of different pairs,....social and family problems,..girls parents selling properties for fulfilling...different rituals and customs...etc...but at times these issues become more glorified as I saw on a tv channel, reporters interviewing school going kids that whether...Aanandi should go to school after her marriage...and kids were laughing....some of them saying its good to sit at home...maaze mein...people not taking it as a serious offence...!!!Though in this serial...some statuory slogans are written to caution viewers to beware!!!...Well Aanadi is Lucky that she got married in a rich family and her in laws and husband is supporting her(initially he used to fight alot...as he was jealous...)...as they are aware of hazards of a child marriage...but if she could have got married in a poor family....could have become mother of two by now...!!!
Their is much discussion going on about few other serials, including 'Sach ka Samana' remake of vedeshi version of 'moment of the truth'...we all know that same story picturised/serialised in hoolywood will be different from bollywood as our audience and market think according to our culture, but yes even this is a truth that in the era of globalization and so many 24 hours channels available in small cities also...its bit difficult to differentiate...not only Producers, channel owners but even parents has this responsibilities to educate their kids to understand difference between quality programmes and B grade, C grade programmes!!!.....One sentence I can say in favour of speaking the truth is...we have good examples like Lord Buddha, Yudhister, Raja Harishchandra, Mahatma Gandhi...etc who were known for speaking the truth...Even I believe in it and try to speak as much as possible!...But It depends what kind of questions has been asked in this programme?...how much it will effect tender minds?...as they may start taking these activities...ki ye sab chalta hai..its all ok!!!?..Our Societies culture and Sanskar is different so we are not ready for ityet I think,....though these all things exists sadiyon se...when I talk about complexities it includes everything...Saw some discussion on it...someone(Urvashi)was objecting why people are not objecting on Condoms ads which are vulgar and obscene...I can say about myself that...I am objecting since Milind Soman-Madhu Sapre..Kamasutra ads days, and was quite against girls wearing bikini's on the stage in beauty pageant...I believe women herself should speak against it.Bikini's are ok in swimming pools or at Beach.But not on the stage! but then its people's personal choice...whatever one do.

Its good to see media and politicians are worried about Metro cracks, Water logging due to rain, Price rise...quite a serious problem which is directly effecting Common people very much!!!
One 'BIG QUESTION' in my mind is poking for years now, is that 'Can on the basis of bayanbazi/atkalbaazi, or vague projection/interpetations in serials, advertisements or in films(fictions)...can anyone considered to be KALANKIT/KALANK...or we need SOME proof to consider/declare a person WRONG???...It can not only haunt a person but all of them who are linked with them(family, friends, well wishers).
For example, In a film 'Humara dil Aapke Pass hai'(Produced by Boney Kapoor)...Ashvarya(Preeti) got raped becoz she reported in police about a cold blooded murder.... by a Jat person(choudhary)/muderer from Haryana!...She was kicked out of her house in the night as her Parents were conservative and they thought it would effect their 2 younger sisters life! No one helped her...Anil kapoor(Avinash) gave her shelter where she started working for him and started taking care of 2 kids (his step siblings studying in Apeejay school, Delhi-- even Amar Singhji is in guest appearence in school as a cheif guest), People around her, as well as his father, accused her, called names!!...Even his mother initially didn't wanted her to marry him, invited his childhood friend Sonali(Khushi)from videsh for marriage...so she(Preeti) left his house for a job in Luckhnow!...but when she entered into sahara airlines on the Delhi Airport, that Anil Kapoor(Avinash) reached there and stopped her and she came back!....Can anyone raising finger on someone in Real life on the basis of this film(fiction) is right??? Isn't it a bakwas!!...(its good I don't have such family)....
And I wish for everyone, including me that...we should not use bad or dirty language...about anyone...kash ki magic wand hota to...jhuggi,basti,kothi,gaon ,shaher, aamir, garib,desh,videsh...sabki zuban se gandi aur rude bhasha meta deti...pyaar se tum, tu to log Ishwar ko bhi kahtein hain...per rudely batein aachhi nahin...I'll try my best ki atleast I will follow this...100%!!!

No, I am not writing it for getting anyone's sahanbhuti/or for justification as I do believe in my words 'Galat to Gaalat hota hai, one cannot justified it,...Most powerful and Popular President of America Mr. Bill Clinton has to face impeachment in the Parliament, but there are several others(even Americans), specially common people, who get away with such situations many time!!!

And we all need to correct/rectify ourself including me(if we are wrong some where)....I am ending /concluding old chapters now and will only open it if I feel its neccessary(though everything was not old as these young new faces including our new generations are also grown up)!!!
In last few days new serials are doing well, gaining TRP(TEM) I believe!...better than before(which I have seen)...in a sense more saaf-suthri serials...otherwise in Tulsi-Parvati-Prerna's serials....extra marital affairs, remarriages, plastic surgery, women involved in kitchen politics...getting murdered each other, by taking supari...or themselve...etc...looked quite unrealistic....I don't think most of the viewers can relate with it...but then those serials were also big hit...so ...its better if we get quality programme...!!! Jyoti serial is good but it is going into wrong direction...specially Sushma's life!!....its better if they promote real bharat/hindustan/india...in it.But then to make serials interesting people need some MASALA varna stories NEERAS ho jayeingi...definetly LOVE STORIES,KITHCEN POLITICS,SAAS BAAHU..TU TU MEIN MEIN...etc is needed for it....but if people started criticising publically..becoz of this(now its don't happen much)...its bothers...HUM SATH SATH HAIN..became...BAGHWAAN...it bothers....thats the lesson one should and can learn from life or its reflections.I like watching 'Palkon ki chaon mein'...!!!
Saw Boney Kapoor Saheb and SriDeviji in SALMAN KHAN's DUS KA DUM...it reminds me of my earlier comments...that whenever any film was discussed personally with me and bounced Q's on me I used to say...They are making there own life story...'Ji kapoor saheb...I know you also liked getting under spotlight'...though you never need it. I saw Govindaji's comment on new film...Where he was talking about a woman's reaction on name Dolly...which was her name...and told her, its Character's name or Sirname...Yes Sir even I reacted like this earlier ...what is there in Name and Sirname...but people don't take it in such cool way...that's why I came out,though I tried to speak up at home earlier as well.....I am sure few people now understand things in a better way...whether we are a laughing stock for them, for a while...right now what's matter more to me is...In future,If ever I point out finger on someone, they should not point out on me just becoz someone wrote something in a book, or shown in a serial, Ad or in a film.....whether its about character,corruption, crime,cheating,terrorism,manupulation...etc.
No, SAHEED I am not taking things personally...but at times people need to clarify for their own reputation...at least for their kids, so that they shouldn't react negatively...demaag mein guussa/narazgi na bethha lein.
I saw Ms Nandita Das discussing about Social work...I think we are like minded mam...definetly last year I had said, before my programme....millions of NGO's are registered in our country, many of them are getting funds also, but only half of them are real UNSUNG HEROES...who are working selflessly....I will try to work silently(though for NGO's own record one need little bit of Press coverage)...still if people come to know about it in someway...I don't mind, As I can't help it.
I myself do like my 2 comments...one was on Sudhirji's cartoon where a woman is doing POONCCHA and given a letter and told to MANAO JAYALALITAJI....those days every TOM, DICK, AND HARRY were assigned to convince JAYALALITAJI....Q's was on POONCCHA..I said, even SITAJI herself used to do Poonccha in her PUJA ROOM...IT IS MENTIONED IN RAMCHARITRAMANAS as no one is allowed to touch SHIVDHANUSH, or can push/move it.
Once Sudhirji and I were talking on phone, he asked me who is 55yrs old...I said, MY COUNTRY...that time India was 55yrs old after INDEPENDANCE. But we do like Film MR & Mrs. 55, in which Gurudutt was a Communist and a Cartoonist in it.(its nice to see that in festive seasons even Communists are participating or present in cultural events...nice to promote once own Art, Culture,food,outfits,language...etc without being extravagant and promoting AADAMBAR, at such occassions.
Definetly I would like to work for country or society, by taking My family along(I always did that), as any good people does that...but definetly...do not interested in spreading PARIWAARWAD/VAANSHVAD(as its happenning in Our Political scenario)...if my daughter is good in whatever she is doing with us or otherwise...she'll have to prove it by her work, though we are not a Politician but a simple responsible citizens, can be politicians hypothetically...
I can see stories existed in PREMCHAND SAHEB's books are getting serialised aajkal...which shows atrocities of bhu-mafias on LOCAL MAZDOORS AND POOR KISAANS, KARIGAARS etc...even in a family how zamindars do autrocities on families...young girls are getting sold...hunger...unemployment,exploitations, unsympathetic behaviours of big one's...reminds me of GODAAN...or today's kisaan or otherwise families suicidal cases...due to poverty and CORRUPT/Rotten SYSTEM(I hope it do not help in spreading feudalism-Malik -Naukarani relations in family instead of Bahu-Beti,Bhai,Bahen,Pati-Patni,Saas-Bahu,Ma-Beti,Beta,Papa...Dadi-Dada,Nani-Nana...etc relationships) or negativity in our society further any more....as it is fiction reflection of our samaj..., which only can be corrected by everyone's selfless and honest effort...which sounds like utopia and impossible...but if majorities mindset changes....things will change, and in today's time I think GANDHIji's thought is right that 'BURAI SE NAFRAT KARO'...sirf dusron se nafrat ker khud ka khun jalanein se kya fayda ....)!!!Though discipline,concentration like Arjuna to see birds eye only in lakhshya....tradition, indian sanskar....minus aandhvishwas/kuritian....is good to promote.
Its nice that people are praising that "aajkal TV serials and Radio, print media... talks are more sensible,realistic,humane and down to earth....and not exactly very superficial, Hawaaii, or 'Ganda'....unrealistic. Yes! now Saas-Bahu or other female members don't kill each other or give supari to kill or harm, or 'socially wrong' is glorified and not condemned...or show disrespect to anyone elder or younger one... all the time...(as everyone deserve respect and need to have self respect...whether he/she is elder or younger one).....but 9Rasa/emotions are there..so, these things will go on!!! But now stories are more balanced,shows festivals,its rituals...reeti-riwaz,food/recipies,mixture of local languages... celebrations of the which ever states they are showing realistically and suits to any strata, or rural background ,urban,slum areas....even story of Fuedal background and Farmers,workers.. majboories are not that unrealistic, per kahaniyaan to kahaniyaan hain aur,serials(its fiction and are not documentaries) do has their commercial aspects.....and TRP games, which cannot be ignored totally.But its good that they are maintaining morally high standard!!!....like MAZBOOR HAIN PER KAMZOR NAHIN...!!!Let others think we are kamzor...but we are not kamzor.
Nice to see ad of Sehwag saying a DareDevil boy...to pullout his shirt as he was passing comment on a girl in gali...certainly these people need to feel embarassed.
Few Nice serials are shown on TV nowdays, but it can be fruitful if people can diffentiate between fiction and reality, without making any opinion about any issue based becoz of it, learn,enjoy goodthings and leave bad and evil aside....as without good or bad, grey or hero or villian, or comedian...story cannot be made.
